Our high-quality membrane filters are cast in Western Europe. The original material is manufactured under EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 14001 quality systems, which ensure precise batch-to-batch consistency, offering a dependable membrane for your laboratory requirements. These membranes are tested via bacteria retention, >107 org/cm2 which is correlated to a non-destructive bubble point test, to confirm the pore size in every batch; they’re also tested for extractables, water and air flow rate, tensile strength, and a number of other parameters.

The ClearRIGHT Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane is produced in Western Europe using patented proprietary processes to sinter and then skive the membrane. ClearRIGHT PTFE is a unique porous membrane with unmatched properties. The Western processing methods ensure a consistent and repeatable pore structure providing outstanding strength, durability, chemical and thermal resistance, and design flexibility across multiple markets and applications. ClearRIGHT PTFE contains no supporting layers, additives, or processing aids, which guarantees outstanding physical properties providing maximum water intrusion pressure and air flow rate. These membranes boast numerous medical and industrial approvals and certifications.



The ClearRIGHT PES membrane consists of high molecular weight Polyethersulfone polymer. This is manufactured in Western Europe using a state-of-the-art casting process, producing a highly porous membrane with exceptional flow rates – higher than any other membrane type at the same pore size. The manufacturing process results in an asymmetric membrane, giving the upstream side excellent dirt-holding capacity and the downstream, particle retention control. The PES membrane also demonstrates excellent high-tensile strength and burst pressure, as well as user-friendly, low static and non-brittle properties. They are fully compatible with a wide range of solvents such as acetonitrile and methanol, hexane, heptane, iso-octane, and isopropanol. The ClearRIGHT PES membrane filters are also fully resistant to many digestive acids, for example in HCL as in PGM analysis.



The ClearRIGHT Cellulose Acetate (CA) membranes are thicker and more durable than other similar membranes on the market, making them more robust for ease of handling. The cellulosic material promotes microorganism growth and is easily sterilised for use in classic membrane microbiology applications. Their wide pore size range makes them ideal for Tribology or Wear Debris Analysis of industrial and engine oils, plus they dissolve easily in acid and are optimal for many forms of environmental dust monitoring.
